Our Story...

On January 2, 2014, we, Josh Waldman and Michele Crowley, got engaged in Seattle, WA  after being together for seven years. By the time we were officially engaged we had already discussed what type of wedding we both wanted... small and soon. We were ready to be married!

With family and friends all over the country, it worked best for us to privately elope and then, in September, have a small ceremony in Seattle with just our parents and siblings. We planned to wait until our small family ceremony to publicly annouce our marriage to all of the important friends and extended family in our lives.

So, with our parents on board, our journey began. On February 2, 2014, we were married at the King County Court House in Seattle. It was a perfect day with bluebird skies and a refreshing chill in the air. After our marriage, we celebrated in Fremont Peak Park with a bottle of Prosecco and Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets (thinking of both of our mothers' Philadelphia roots).  There was a busy little hummingbird who was keeping us company, too!

Two months after the wedding, plans for our family ceremony were quickly halted for one of the best reasons possible... Josh won a scholarship from the Glen Hay Falconer Foundation to attend Siebel Institute of Technology, a longtime dream of his. Josh's program ran from September to November at Siebel’s Chicago and Munich campuses.

With Josh's impending departure, our September family ceremony was no longer an option, so we decided to hold off on plans until his return in early December.

Now, over one year later, with envelopes stamped and sealed, we have even more amazing news to share -- we're expecting our first child in late August 2015! We are so thrilled to share all of our joy with you and look forward to celebrating in the future.

Love,

Josh & Michele
